Terms & Conditions for Enigma Pan Asian
All prices include VAT at 20%. No VAT is charged on the deposit itself.
A discretionary service charge of 12.5% will be added to your bill (excluding at the bar).
To confirm your booking, Enigma Pan Asian requires a £15 deposit per person for all parties of 5 or more guests in the Restaurant & Cellar Bar.
A deposit of £25 per guest is required during November, December, and Special Events. Deposits for Special Events are non-refundable.
All bookings are provisionally booked until Enigma Pan Asian has received full payment of the deposit.
Deposits are taken on a pre-authorized basis only. Your deposit will be redeemed against your final bill.
PRIVATE HIRE & MINIMUM SPENDS
Enigma Pan Asian has a ‘minimum spend’ requirement for exclusive use of certain areas in the venue. The ‘minimum spend’ is the minimum amount a party must spend for exclusive use of certain areas. If you meet the minimum spend, your deposit will be redeemed against your final bill. If the minimum spend is not met, then the deposit will be retained to cover the shortfall. HOW TO PAY YOUR DEPOSIT
Deposits must be paid in a single transaction. Payment can be made via credit or debit card (over the phone or in person). Enigma Pan Asian processes payments through a secure network and does not retain customer data. Bank transfers must be completed at least two weeks before the booking date. Cheques are not accepted, and payments after the booking date are not permitted. Please settle your final bill on or before the booking date.
CANCELLATION POLICY
If you need to cancel your booking, please let us know as soon as possible. If you cancel more than 48 hours before your booking, your deposit will be refunded in full. If you cancel less than 48 hours before your booking, your full deposit will be retained. For parties of 10 people or more, a 72-hour notice is required for a full deposit refund. For bookings during November, December, or Special Events, if you cancel more than 14 days before your booking, your deposit will be refunded in full. If you cancel less than 14 days before, the deposit may be retained. This policy also applies if you wish to reschedule to another date.
CONFIRMING NUMBERS
If your booking is confirmed for 20 people, but only 15 show up, the deposit for the missing 5 people will be forfeited.
PRE-ORDERS
Sharing menus and menus for Special Events are designed to be ready on the day, catering to all dietary requirements. Please provide your food order at least 7 days before the event date for a smooth service. Wine pre-orders are also welcome.
DAMAGE & GENERAL RULES
Enigma Pan Asian reserves the right to retain your deposit if any damage is caused by your party to fixtures and fittings. All deposit amounts will be deducted from the final bill unless an alternative arrangement has been made with the manager. If a deposit is to be refunded, it can only be returned to the original payment card. No cash refunds are available. This process can take 5-6 working days.
The client must provide final menu choices, special dietary requirements, and final numbers at least 10 working days before the event. If there’s a need to vacate an area at an agreed time, an additional hire fee may be charged. If a third-party company provides additional entertainment, decorations, or other facilities, insurance documentation must be submitted at least 48 hours before the event. Only food and drink supplied by Enigma Pan Asian may be consumed on the premises.
Enigma Pan Asian is not responsible for lost or misplaced items belonging to your party, and cannot be held liable for failures or delays caused by factors beyond our control, such as strikes, terrorist activities, fires, or severe weather conditions. We also reserve the right to refuse service or ask people to leave if they are causing disturbances or acting irresponsibly.
